Where I'm from

I'm a fifth-generation Houstonian, and my family's claim on this ground goes back further than that. My ancestor Henry Harvey Swisher fought at the Battle of San Jacinto in 1836 — the fight that won Texas its independence. I carry that today as a Verified Son of the Republic of Texas.

That's not a line I put on a business card for effect. It's the reason I think about the work I do — insurance, real estate, whatever I'm building — in terms of what it leaves behind, not just what it closes this quarter.

Why I do this now

After a career spent running other people's companies, I built two of my own. One helps families make sense of Medicare, life insurance, and long-term care planning — decisions people often put off until they can't anymore. The other helps them buy and sell the houses those same decisions tend to circle back to.

Both are built the same way: one advisor, one relationship, start to finish. No hand-off to someone else down the line.

That's not the industry standard in either business. I built it that way on purpose, because it's how I'd want to be treated — and how my family has always done business in this state.
